We get lots of time off during the holiday season. It’s a great time to relax with a hot chocolate and paint your Christmas nails. If you’re going for festive motifs this season these festive or winter styled patterns.

The best part about this season is it has three main associated colors: red, white, and green. So you can paint your nails in a whole bunch of these patterns, and only need to buy a couple of colors. Whether you like to keep it simple or go all-out, there’s a pattern for you. Maybe build up your skills, starting simple with a giant snowman head or star, and finish strong with an exquisitely detailed reindeer. Think of these ideas as our Christmas present to you! White and red are Christmas colors, these cute, simple designs remind us of the Season of Giving with snow, pine trees, reindeer, and snowflakes. They aren’t too busy: the patterns are huge and there are only two on each hand. They’re cute and charming: the perfect present for your fingertips.

Glitter, glitter, everywhere! Or, on your tips. That works great, too. First, put your tips on. Then, add a cute snowflake: one per nail, and fairly large. Once the paint is dry, add some glue and either sprinkle some glitter and sequins on or dip your fingers into the glitter. Disperse it evenly and you’ve got cute seasonal nails.

Santa in the Snow.

Everyone thinks of snow and Santa on Christmas nails, but don’t overlook Santa’s reindeer. All the paint is red except the ring finger, that one’s reserved for a cute, simple deer. Use a stencil, add a border and a big red nose.

A Bit More Subtle.

Not everyone wants something kid-ish like Santa and snowmen. Instead, seasonal colors like the white of snow and the blue of the snowy sky go on French tips. Add simple stars to remind us of the Christmas season, and you have cute without overly festive.

If you like simple DIY nails, these are perfect for you. You don’t need too many patterns, just one or two cute pictures. One is a simple stripe pattern in Christmas colors of red and white.
